Who's up for a Leverage fic exchange?

I've been talking to dea_liberty  , who ran the leveragexchange   last year, about possibly doing it again this year. So, if you're interested, please take the poll and we'll see what happens. :) 


 EDIT: I've tried to add a supplemental poll to gauge femslash interest, but I am apparently made of LJ poll fail. So, if you're interested in femslash, you can use the text box to say so. :)

I don't know for certain, but I'd guess it would be fairly close to last year's, which was 15 July.

I'm very new to Leverage with only 1 fic posted at the moment, and atm only a muse for Parker/Alec/Eliot - and so far that's very gen. Though I listed the 1 fic as 3some it was only by the slimmest of margins and with rose-colored glasses (mine firmly in place) otherwise it really read as gen/teamfic outside of 1-2 lines *shrugs* I'm still getting my feet wet, so I'd love the opportunity to be challenged, but couldn't promise anything higher than a pg-13 rating.

Yeah, I heard that was an issue last year and is something that we'd try to prevent happening again. I understand how frustrating that can be, to not receive a story when you've worked so hard to provide one.

Leverage Fic

Oh, right. I forgot I'd like to take a stab at writing Sterling too. The bastard. : )
And Maggie here and there because she is a great monkey wrench to throw in
now and again.

Though I've never written any fic for Leverage, and only have a sadly aborted Owen/Cristina
Grey's Anatomy fic, I will finish this Leverage thing I'm working on (without a doubt) because the characters really speak to me AND are WAAAAAAY more fun to play with.

So I'd love to attempt to bring someone else's plot bunny to life. Should be a fun challenge.

I think you might want to split f/f slash and m/m slash into two separate categories. By and large, you have entirely different audiences and fic conventions for each type of fic. (Though there is some crossover.)

I know you can't edit polls, but maybe a second poll could be added to the entry to gauge femslash interest? I don't want to answer "slash" because I am utterly uninterested in m/m slash (which is what the majority of people who respond to that will be interested in), but I am very interested in f/f slash.

*doh* I didn't even think of that distinction.

I'm reluctant to post a second poll, just because I imagine there might be poor uptake, since I'm guessing most people who were going to take the poll already have and I felt kind of like a spammer when I advertised it this weekend already. :)

A completely unscientific guess, supported by viewing the poll results and counting up the number of answers that included f/f pairings, would be not so much femslash interest. (Two responders, basically.)

Thanks for the advice. I've sent the link and made a post on thefemslashjob. The adding a supplemental poll question didn't go so well...I'm apparently made of LJ fail. No matter what I did, the secondary poll only showed up as flat text.

Anyway, lessons learned for the future. :)

I've been doing some looking around and still can't find an official start date for S3, but a lot of the comments in John Rogers' blog reference 1 June as the date, which is significantly earlier than I thought.
