Eliot never really cared where he lived, as long as it had clear lines of sight and multiple exits. It was Hardison’s idea for the team to live in the same building. Even though it made good practical sense, Eliot suspected the hacker’s intentions had nothing to do with logic and everything to do with creating his own personal Hall of Justice.

A Better Thief

A/N: Written for my bonus prompt, #27 (a classroom) @ story_lottery.  So, ten days, six full-length stories plus the tiny bonus fic, just over 25,000 words in total...and I'm finally done. That was great fun. :)

Through the open windows, Parker can hear the other kids playing at recess. She’s stuck in the classroom, pinned to her desk by the disapproving stare of Mrs. Kowelchevsky. Parker despises the woman, from the top of her absurd black beehive to the tips of her scuffed orthopedic shoes. But what Parker hates most of all are the teacher’s piggy eyes, which seem to have the special power to zero in on rule-breaking.
